The Law of Cycles is the universe’s educational system. Imagine you are taking an exam in a certain subject, and on your first attempt, you fail to get a passing grade. You keep retaking the subject until you pass the exam. That is a cycle!
Cycles come in various forms. For instance, if you violate your own will, the universe punishes you with a set of problems. Then, it recreates a situation where you must stand up for your will again. This process will repeat constantly until the lesson is learned.
Why does this happen? Because the universe has only one goal: complexity!
Based on this, everything in our world strives for development. The system punishes any restrictions or processes that go against development! Development cannot be labeled with a specific “color”; any manifestation of it is a blessing.
Imagine you took a job because you needed the money, not because working in that field was your dream. Your boss turns out to be a total jerk who torments you in every possible way. In turn, you dodge your work duties using every method available to you.
Being in such an environment, you have neither the time nor the desire for development. The universe is punishing you with that unpleasant boss, as if shouting: “Leave! There is nothing for you here.” The reverse is also true: the boss suffers from incompetent employees who do not follow instructions (if anyone even bothered to write them).
All your actions are recorded as lessons in your karma. Later, through the Law of Cycles, they repeat. When you pass a lesson, the universe rewards you with pleasant gifts. Think of stories about people for whom everything goes “smoothly like butter.” This means they passed a portion of their lessons correctly and received a well-deserved reward in the form of an improved quality of life.
The result is clear: people who fail their lessons constantly find themselves in difficult situations, while those who pass their lessons grow and elevate their standard of living.
One might ask: why do those born into wealthy families live at a higher level seemingly undeservedly? There are three answers:
What should you do to pass your lessons as smoothly as possible?
In conclusion, it is important to realize that only by mastering the second rule—keeping your word—will a vast number of opportunities open up to you. You will be able to reach a new level very quickly, and then move on to the next, and the next.
